چکیده

BACKGROUND: Adiponectin, an adipose tissue protein, plays a crucial role in the development of metabolic syndrome and atherosclerosis. As potential therapeutic target, this adipokine can be considered context treatment strategies.
AIM: The aim study was to assess correlation between changes plasma adiponectin concentration during coronary heart disease therapy effectiveness treatment, as well examine relationship initial levels outcomes patients with syndrome.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: included 31 (age 59.7 5.9 years, 21 women) which underwent reexamination after 23 years. Most received statins (n = 26), while some fibrates 4) hypoglycemic drugs 4). Additionally, were on hypotensive antithrombotic therapies. assessed by evaluating functional class angina pectoris exercise tolerance measured through cycle ergometry. Plasma samples collected at periods determine glucose, insulin, adiponectin, leptin, lipidogram parameters.
RESULTS: revealed improvements insulin sensitivity lipid spectrum, along reduced leptin increased course therapy. In addition, showed enhanced tolerance. Among biochemical parameters, resistance correlated performance indicators ergometry (r 0.320.36, p 0.05). Moreover, multiple regression analysis indicated that independently determined inotropic reserve amount work performed ( 0.44, 0.04 0.64, 0.008).
CONCLUSIONS: studys findings regarding association suggest for developing specific approaches raise future.
